Kathryn Collins career spans engineering, management and consulting in the semiconductor and defense industries. She is the Director of Worldwide Training & Organization Effectiveness for Texas Instruments. Kathryn transformed the organization to run like a business, and the strategy was simple.
Kathryn’s strategic partnership with General Physics Corporation has been key to the success of serving the worldwide TI population, getting development to the right people at the right time to improve job performance.
Kathryn consults with leadership teams in North America, Europe, and Asia specializing in business strategy development, organization design, change management, new business start-ups and acquisition integration. She is a coach and mentor to new and seasoned professionals.
Kathryn is a Lifetime member of the Girl Scouts and an active volunteer for the Girl Scouts of Tejas Council. She has been a volunteer consultant to organizations in the greater Dallas area, and frequently speaks at industry conferences. Kathryn has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, an MBA in Industrial Management from the University of Dallas and an MS in Organization Development from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
Daniel V. Gorski
Dan has been in the Telecommunications industry for 25 years, having started with Wisconsin Bell in 1979. He has held a variety of sales and technical positions throughout his career at AT&T, Lucent and Avaya, including Account Executive, System Engineer, Application Specialist, Systems Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Director and Area Sales Vice President. He has also been involved in education and training in several roles during his career including having been an Instructor and a Strategic Briefer. While living in the Chicago area, he taught in the Masters of Telecommunications Curriculum at De Paul University for seven years.
In his current role as Director or Global Learning at Avaya, Dan is responsible for the training budget and management of the training done by Avaya University, globally, on behalf of the Enterprise Communications Group and the Global Sales and Marketing organizations at Avaya, the two largest consumers of Avaya University services. Avaya University is operated by Accenture in an outsource arrangement on behalf of Avaya and Dan is a key leader in the management of that relationship.
Dan is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, is married, has four children and he and his family live in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Kaliym Islam is Vice President of Learning for the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt, and the author of Developing and Measuring Training The 6 Sigma Way, a resource that translates the popular Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and techniques in a way that is customized specifically for the design, implementation, and measurement of employee development programs. Mr. Islam is a contributing author to the German E-Learning Handbook, the French publication Puissance Six Sigma and is a featured contributing writer to LTI NewsLine. His written work has been featured on the covers of industry publications such as Chief Learning Officer Magazine and e-Learning Magazine. Mr. Islam is a pioneer in the application of Six Sigma to training programs and has been a keynote presenter on the subject at The Australian IQPC's Curriculum and Development Conference, The Conference Board of Canada's Learning and Development Conference, TechLearn, and Corporate University Week.
A former educator in the NYC Public School System, Mr. Islam has been the recipient of the Gift of Time Award, as well as the Horace E. Green Award. Mr. Islam has also been cited by the City Council of New York for his innovative work as an educator, and by the Jackie Robinson Center for Physical Culture for his educational leadership. He resides in Plainfield, New Jersey.

Glenn A. Oclassen, Jr. is a recognized industry thought leader and business innovator with a broad understanding of learning technology, product and services development, and learning application and theory. He is currently Director of Education Partner Programs at salesforce.com, the leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, the fastest growing corporation on the NYSE. Glenn leads the development of salesforce.com's WW Authorized Training Center program, and the development of training products and services that complement the core salesforce.com offering mix. Before joining salesforce.com, Glenn was the Director of North America Channel Readiness for Autodesk. Glenn led the Autodesk team responsible for the development and delivery of North America reseller sales, technical, and implementation services training, national and regional ILT events, e-learning development and delivery, and new-hire training. Glenn focused his organization on measurement of training impact on sales and reseller performance, developing scaleable content design, production, and delivery methods, vendor management, and the rollout and administration of the North America Channel LMS.
Glenn previously led product development for the Autodesk "Packaged Service Offering" integrated web application and content suite, and also led the Custom Learning Solutions practice within Autodesk Consulting. Prior to joining Autodesk, he was Vice President of Corporate Development for GeneEd, Inc., a leading custom learning services organization for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industries. Glenn served as Senior Director of Business Development for Headlight, Inc., and was previously Product Manager for Learning Management Systems and New Product Development at Archipelago Productions.
