Susannah is an Executive Coach and an industry professional with over 20 years experience.
As owner of her own company and latterly as Managing Director of PPI Learning, Susannah has spent the last 6-7 years on the development and provision of outsourced training services to large blue chip organisations. In her most recent work she has helped to define, shape and develop the training services of a major Pharmaceutical company. In addition she continues to provide consultancy services to major organisations across a range of industry both in the private and public sector.
Susannah has worked with a broad range of companies including GlaxoSmithKline, Serco, Orange, Maersk, Dun & Bradstreet, ITV, NatWest Markets, the Civil Service and PMI, implementing learning strategies which have realised a major transformation in the nature of the contract and the services provided for the client. This has included a significant change in the modality of training with major advances in eLearning content development, including shrinkwrap, rapid and bespoke content as well as the implementation of LMS systems that support over 100,000 users globally. She is a pioneer in the use of Live eLearning environments delivering over 1,000,000 minutes of Live eLearning using live trainers in virtual classrooms.
In addition to her love of technology and learning she is passionate about the development of leaders and partnering with them to help them sharpen their performance edge and realise their full potential.
Her coaching style is best described as relaxed and productive. She works with her clients to enable them to take control of their future and liberate them to achieve tangible results for themselves and their organisation.
Susannah is currently studying for her Diploma in Executive Coaching to further refine her overall Coaching Model and approach.
Jim Hanlin is Chief Marketing Officer of Training Industry, Inc. He has been involved in education and training for over 25 years as a senior administrator at a community college, director of education for a professional engineering association and has founded and served as president and a member of the Board of Directors for three companies focusing on the development of corporate training strategy and custom training programs. Included in his long list of clients are General Mills, The National Institute of Standards and Practices, Nortel Networks, Chrysler, General Motors, Ford, Heinz USA, Inland Steel, GlaxoSmithKline, Consolidated Edison, and many more. As CMO of Training Industry, Inc., Jim is one of the leaders in promoting the training industry, facilitating outsourcing partnerships, and analyzing the state of the marketplace. Jim holds a BA degree from Dickinson College, a Masters of Education from Kent State University, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
A member of Intrepid's founding team, Herring leads the company's sales and marketing operations to drive the development of innovative learning and performance solutions that solve client business challenges. The principal architect of Intrepid's consulting practice, Herring developed the business by attracting key clients such as Autodesk, Cisco Systems, Honeywell, Wells Fargo Bank, Washington Mutual Bank, Federated Department Stores, S.C. Johnson, and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
Herring is a frequent speaker at leading industry conferences and seminars, including those hosted by ASTD, The Conference Board and The Masie Center. He is currently a member of the ASTD Board of Directors Selection Committee, and is a past advisory committee member of ASTD and TechLearn conferences. Vicki Kossoff is Managing Director at The Learning Factor, where she is responsible for leading the company’s growth throughout Asia Pacific. She has 25 years of business experience, working as both an internal and external consultant in the area of HR and adult learning. Her skills and knowledge as a consultant and leader are supported by her knowledge of the theories and techniques of adult learning, leadership, and organisational change.
Vicki has led the business since 1996 guiding efforts to design, implement and broaden some of the first training outsourcing engagements in Australia. Vicki was responsible for leading one of Australia’s first and largest training outsourcing engagements back in the 1990s. She has extensive experience in improving the value of learning within organisations through streamlining processes and leveraging learning shared services. She is a passionate advocate of perfectly tailored learning solutions, where one size fits one.
Prior to this, Vicki held senior Asia Pacific HR/Learning roles for some of the world’s leading organisations. As a result, she has worked and travelled extensively in the Asia Pacific region which has given her a clear understanding of current business and cultural issues throughout the region from bi/multi-cultural perspective.

As an independent researcher, analyst and consultant, Dr. David Metcalf combines business sense and technology efficiencies to provide performance results. His approach has saved companies millions of dollars while guiding business transformations for learning organizations. Specific areas of focus include: learning business strategy, performance measurement, operational excellence, outsourcing, blended learning and mobile learning.
Dr. Metcalf was formerly the Chief Learning Technologist at RWD Technologies. There he was responsible for the analysis, design and strategic alignment of RWD’s technology solutions for learning. He ran high-level strategy and transformation engagements at well know companies such as 3Com, Fujitsu, Roche Diagnostics, Rolls-Royce and FedEx Ground. Dr. Metcalf also led the development of several award-winning mobile learning innovations.
He joined RWD with the sale of his NASA Kennedy Space Center laboratory spin-off company- Merrimac. Prior to spin-off, he was the Lead Multimedia Designer at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. He was responsible for the outsourced management and operations of the award-winning multimedia laboratory.
Dr. Metcalf holds a B.A. in Computer Graphics from the University of Texas, an M.S. in Computer-Based Learning and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University and keeps current by continuing to hold appointments at several universities.
A frequent speaker at major learning and development conferences around the world, Dr Metcalf is also the co-author of the book titled: Blended eLearning: Integrating Knowledge, Performance Support and Online Learning and recently participated as chapter author on “Operational Excellence Through Blended Learning” for Elliott Masie’s upcoming book- Rants, Raves and Reflections in Learning. He is currently completing mLearning: Mobile Learning and Performance scheduled for later this year.
Dan Miller, a Senior Vice President at General Physics Corporation, has been engaged in learning and employee development since 1983. During his career he has been instrumental in the development of learning strategies in support of workforce development in the manufacturing workplace, established assessment methodologies for training businesses, and has led the expansion of the training industry to the Asia-Pacific marketplace. He is noted for his passion for learning and penchant for aligning learning with business strategies. He holds a B.S. in Human Resources from the New School University and a MBA from Anderson University.

During his 15-year tenure at THINQ, Chris transferred his experiences and vision into a framework called The Learning Management Maturity Model (LM3)™. As a first of its kind, THINQ’s LM3 combines organizational process maturity and various technologies to help organizations define and execute on their learning and performance strategy.
Today, Chris’s work continues to bridge the gap between learning strategy and execution. His most recent innovation, CLO Dashboard™ zeroes in on learning and performance metrics by aligning business goals and objectives to key learning indicators (KLI) and supporting measures. His efforts have won him respect as a speaker and author by numerous trade associations and journals including ASTD, CLO Magazine, HR Executive, Training Director’s Forum, and The Conference Board. Chris holds a BS in Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. He resides near Baltimore, Maryland with his wife and two sons.
